Solomon commissioned over 150,000 workers helped build the temple. Together, they probably spent over 2,000,000,000 hours over 7 years to complete it.

They spared no expense. They were building a dwelling place for the Creator of the Universe. Could a manmade temple ever be sufficient?

The New Testament says that God has invited you to be a temple for His Spirit.

Therefore, don’t be surprised when he starts making you into something new—something beautiful. Don’t despise his renovation project in your heart.

We could never earn such a privilege, but we can thank Him for it.
